Fethen is run by Nick Schouppe in Belgium. We are responsible for the personal data described here.

What data we get
- If you email us: your email address, your name, your social media handle and whatever you write.
- When you visit this site: our hosting provider (Cloudflare, Inc., USA, via Cloudflare Pages) automatically logs technical data, like your IP address and browser. This keeps the site secure and running. Cloudflare is certified under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework, which the EU recognises as giving adequate protection for this data.
What we don't do
No cookies. No tracking. No analytics. No ads. No contact forms. We never sell your data.
Why we use it
We use your data to answer your message and to talk about a possible partnership.
Legal basis: steps before a contract and our legitimate interest (GDPR art. 6(1)(b) and (f)).
How long we keep it
We keep emails as long as we need them for our conversation. We delete them at the latest 1 year after our last contact, unless we start working together.
Who else sees it
Only our email provider and our hosting provider. They process it for us.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete your data, or object to how we use it. Email nick@fethen.com and we reply within one month.
Complaints
You can file a complaint with the Belgian Data Protection Authority: www.dataprotectionauthority.be.
